How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

Strictly necessary (essential)

Required to run Nexis. These do not require consent in many jurisdictions because the service cannot function without them.

Session authentication (nexis_owner_id) — keeps you signed in securely (httpOnly cookie)

Functional / preference

Remember choices you make in the interface. Disabling these may reset layout or theme preferences.

Theme, font, layout, navbar, and sidebar preference cookies

Sidebar open/collapsed state

Local storage for Gmail sync timestamp, reply drafts, and similar workspace preferences

Third-party technologies

Loaded when you use certain integrations:

• Meta / Facebook SDK — when you connect WhatsApp Business through embedded signup
• Google OAuth— when you connect Gmail (handled on Google's domain during consent)

Analytics

We do not currently use third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics) on the Nexis application. If we enable analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before non-essential tracking.

When you first visit Nexis, you may see a cookie notice. By clicking Accept, you acknowledge our use of cookies and similar technologies as described here. Essential cookies are used to provide the service regardless of that notice.

Creating a Nexis account requires agreement to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which describe how we process personal information, including through cookies where applicable.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or clear on exit). Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from staying signed in. You can disconnect Gmail or WhatsApp in Settings and sign out to limit ongoing data collection.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
